Latest Questions about Fiordland Expeditions Overnight Cruise (Doubtful Sound)

Hello. Does your Doubtful Sound 1 night or 2 night cruise depart on either December 11, 12, 13, 14, or 15? If so, please let me know the price for my wife and myself for a room with an en suite.

Thank you,

Hi--

I am a solo traveler looking for an overnight cruise (1-2 nights) of Doubtful Sound. I see that there is no availability for Nov 2023. If anything opens up between Nov 18-23, could I be made aware? I would love to book a spot if at all possible.

Sincerely,
Aleks

We have booked this cruise for November 16. Can you please confirm when we are back at Pearl Harbour on the 17th?

I note this is not a confirmed booking (4 sept or 8 sept) and that you need to wait until there are 6 people. is this correct? If so do you have to pay in full when its not a confirmed booking?

We will drive down from Queenstown to Manapouri. IS there safe overnight parking available please?

I am interested in the overnight cruise for Doubtful Sound and prefer more private trip than with too many people. I notice there are a few packages and ones with 70 and ones with less. What is the pricing for them and would there be any availabilities for 14 January 2018 for 2 cabins (4 adults)?

Thanks

We are a family of 2 parents and three offspring: female 28yrs, male 27yrs and male 23yrs. What is the best choice of cabin arrangements for us? Travel dates flexible either 10th,11th,12th February 2018

Hi Linda, I would say the best choice for your family is the bunk room for your 3 children- it's on the top deck with beautiful viewing opportunities of the stars. Then one of the private cabins for you and your husband. I would recommend with an ensuite so the 5 of you can share that if need be, as although the bunk room has a toilet, it does not have a shower and there is only 1 other shower on the boat

How do we get from a hotel in Queenstown to Manapori to board this cruise?

Comments

Hiya, Transfers from Queenstown are not included with this cruise. They may be able to arrange a pick up from Te Anau. You can get a bus there from Queenstown or i would recommend just hiring a car and driving to Manapouri.

We are travelling with a 1 year old. There are no prices listed for children under 5. Can you please clarify the options for children under 5.

Hi Keely, your 1 year old will travel free of charge on the Fiordland Overnight Cruise. You can either book a premium cabin or economy cabin so you will have a double bed and bunk or else you can book in the bunkroom.
