The Steambox tour grants you an exclusive dining experience in the geyser marquee, which has the best view of Pōhutu Geyser (the largest geyser in the southern hemisphere). This famous Rotorua geyser erupts approximately 20 times a day, with the water and steam often reaching heights of 30 metres. Beneath Pōhutu lies the 'Blueys'. This affectionately named cobalt blue lake is a result of silica produced from the Pōhutu Geyser, which then runs from the geyser terrace to the lake.
