Hi do you actually go into the shotover gorge?I thought there was only one company that could?

Comments

If you want to enjoy a jetboat ride inside the Shotover Canyon then I would recommend booking the Shotover Jet. Kjet travels from Lake Wakatipu into the Kawarau River & Shotover River, a different section of the Shotover River but equally breathtaking views!

Hi we will be arriving queenstown around 10am from te anau and had booked Walter peak farm tour at 2pm. Will we be able to go for the jet boat and on time for the farm tour?

Comments

Hi Annie. Yes you will be able to book on the 11am or 12pm K Jet boat ride in Queenstown as you will not need to check in until 1.40pm for the farm tour Earnslaw cruise. The K Jet boat trip lasts just under an hour and is only a short 5 minute walk from where the Earnslaw departs.

Hi Imran. Yes, the minimum age to ride the K Jet boat in Queenstown is 2 years old with kids aged 2 - 5 travelling for free. When you book online just mention that you have a 2 year old in the 'additional information' field and we will add them on for free with your booking.

I will be 4 months pregnant. Can I go on the Shotover Jet?

Comments

Hi Julia, Kjet will take pregnant passengers up to 20 weeks depending on the conditions on the day. They do however advise for pregnant passengers not to ride. The final call is made by the driver on the day after assessing you and the conditions.

Hey I was just wondering what's the difference between an early bird and the normal one??? I know it's cheaper, but what's the difference

Comments

Hi Ari, there is no difference in the ride you receive the only difference is the time. The early bird KJet option is a cheaper price as it is the quiet time of the day.

Hiya, looking at booking this in for july for me and my boyfriend, was wondering as you have said you can look after bags, if 2 decent sized suitcases would be ok ?? :S !
Thank you!

Hi Claire, yes KJet certainly does have storage for your suitcases. There are plenty of lockers available and also a storage room for the larger items which is secured while you are on the jet boat.
