Hi Steve. The Cape Reinga & 90 Mile Beach tour departs from Paihia in the Bay of Islands and unfortunately there are no transfers available from Auckland for this particular tour as its too far away for a one day bus tour.
If you do want to see the Bay of Islands from Auckland in one day then there is a great day tour that includes transfers from Auckland and in fact there is a pick up from the Sky City hotel. See the link below for more details and to book:
