Amazing experience on the glacier.
With 6 passengers, it was a bit squishy in the helicopter though. Realise they had to distribute the weight but would have been a better experience if one of us could have a window seat (we were both given middle seats). Would still recommend this to friends - was a thrilling experience

Free phone before 8am was through to booking office which was not open prior to our flight at 7.45am. We turned up anyway and luckily all was well.

Very easy service to use, no problem with the booking process or moving my voucher after the cancellation.
Flight was cancelled due to weather. So I transferred my booking to Queenstown and did a flight there today 15th march instead and it was fantastic.

Hi Kerie. The Fox glacier helicopter flights and hikes are very popular so we recommend booking well in advance as they are often booked up several days/weeks ahead. We recommend booking for your first day in the area so that if the weather is poor and your flight does not go ahead then you can reschedule. Do these flight start at Queenstown for the Glaciers flight?

Hi Lynne, the Fox Glacier Flights all depart from The Helicopter Line base at Fox Glacier. If you are wanting to go from Queenstown this is possible however you would need to book a charter flight which means booking the entire helicopter for your flight and your itinerary would be organised based on where you wanted to go and priced accordingly.
