After heaps of thrills and spills while rafting on the Kaituna River, discover Rotorua’s geothermal mud baths at Hell’s Gate. Soak in views of this geothermal reserve near Rotorua while lathering your skin with soothing mud and soaking in a naturally heated sulphur spa, renowned for its healing qualities.

• This combo is self drive only, no transfers available from Rotorua or between activities
• Minimum age 13yrs+
• Hell's Gate spa opening hours: 10:00am-6:00pm (last entry 4:30pm)
• Hell's Gate is a 10-15 minute drive away at 351 State Highway 30, Tikitere, Rotorua
• Not suitable for pregnant women
• Maximum weight 120kg
• Participants must have a reasonable level of fitness
• Bring your swimwear, towel, sunscreen & water
• GoPros are permitted on the river provided you are wearing a chest harness
• We recommend bringing an old set of swimwear for the mud bath & spa, or you can hire them at Hell's Gate for $5 per item
• No minimum numbers required
• Rafting photos are available to purchase after your trip
