Transfers from central Rotorua on request
Grade 5 River – 3 big waterfalls
World class safety equipment provided - wetsuit, booties, helmet, buoyancy aids

Duration

Please allow 2 hours (1 hour rafting on the Kaituna River)

Departures

Summer - 9am, 10.30am, 12pm, 1.30pm and 3pm
Winter (May- Oct) - 10am, 12pm and 2pm
Meet at 761 State Highway 33, Okere Falls
Transfers available from central Rotorua in winter only (additional cost on the day)
Operates daily all year

Other Information

Minimum age for full trip is 13yrs (Full trip = Grade 5)
Child aged 10-12yrs can still participate on a half trip (Half trip = Grade 3)
All you need is swimsuit and towel, everything else is provided
Minimum of 2 places required to confirm the trip departure

If the river is too high or too fast, will the Rotorua Rafting trip be cancelled?

Rotorua Rafting will asses the river each day and make a call as to whether it is safe to operate or not. If for any reason they choose to call off the day you would of course have the option to reschedule or refund your trip. With the Grade 5 Kaituna River trips, safety absolutely comes first!
